Materials used:

• Rods were manufactured using Modified TFM and 25% Glassfiber with specially blended additives
• Bolts and Nuts were manufactured using Pure PTFE

Highlights:

• The component was of dimension: 1100 mm dia. x 200 mm long and weighed around 250 Kgs. (molding weight). After carefully understanding our customer’s requirement and specifications suggested by them, the machining duration of one set took about 10 days to complete.
• The component has diagonal holes centre (that matches) to vertical holes. Clamp rings were added surrounding the component for fixing filter cloth. Side bushes and centre bolts were added for fixing clamp ring. To ensure the component was error free and suitable for use, we performed hydro-test among other tests.
• The component was made for one of our client’s (Pharmaceutical Industry) based in Switzerland and this project was on the critical side of processing and manufacturing.
